Office Orphan

While S was busy kicking off rats the Nottingham team shot 'Office Orphan' yesterday. It was our first time shooting on a digital SLR and a great experience it was too. We had a great camera team who slogged hard to produce some wonderful shots. It was important with this film to really focus on getting as much good stuff 'in camera' so we can have a very quick turnaround. The actors all delivered and were amazingly consitent throughout the day, we were also able to spend some quality time rehearsing to really get the most out the script. Speaking of the script, we had a new writer for this film who provided us with a top notch original script for us to work with. It was great to be working with someone else's script because we were able to really develop it so that it was really strong by the time we came to shoot. We are already developing another couple of scripts together - watch this space.

All in all everything really came together well and it was a great day. It was just so nice to be in a room full of enthusiastic and talented people all working hard to produce something great.
