Thomson's Photographic Kit

The engineering part of equipping our 19th century photographer being over, I turned my attentions to the rest of the kit - and discovered that photography and chemistry were pretty inseparable until recently. The hero of Rats now has a photographic kit bag that Fox Talbot would be proud of.

It's amazing what you can learn by making movies. If the bottom ever drops out of the educational sector (not unlikely) I'm going to become an outfitter for 19th century photographers... if there are any left... which of course there aren't...

Kit box made of skip-harvested stuff. Including mini-chemistry lab,
red-lantern, retouching paints, magnifier and printing out frames
